For this special event, Mary and Darden will be trading songs and stories for two sets in this intimate all-acoustic performance. Seating is limited to 30. Reservations include a letterpress print of Mary’s classic song, Mercy Now, with hand-illustration by Darden. This unique collaboration is part of a signed and numbered limited edition of 100 (one per reservation).
This show will be held in Darden’s East Austin studio. Address and instructions will be sent the week of February 20th. All studio shows are BYOB. Please be advised that the studio is on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator.

MORNING SESSION (9:30AM – 12:30PM)
This session will cover song structure, word choice, lyric clarity, melody and hooks.
AFTERNOON SESSION (1:30PM – 4:30PM) In the afternoon we will spend time listening to your songs and looking for ways to make them cleaner, more to the point. After that we will talk about best practices for a writing life.
